Your privacy is our priority at Pure Connection Counseling Services, LLC. We understand that trust is the foundation of effective therapy. All information shared in sessions is kept strictly confidential in accordance with state and federal laws, as well as professional ethical standards. Our commitment to confidentiality ensures that your personal information, session notes, and records are never shared without your written consent, except in rare circumstances required by law—such as concerns of imminent harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse, or a court order. Please be aware that our cancellation policy is designed to respect your time while ensuring we provide a safe space for everyone. Additionally, recording sessions without our mutual consent is strictly prohibited. We also accept various insurance plans to make our services more accessible. We are dedicated to providing a secure environment where you can speak openly, knowing your information is protected and respected.
Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling called the "No Surprises Act" came into effect, which mandates that practitioners provide a "Good Faith Estimate" (GFE) to individuals who are uninsured or choose to self-pay. This GFE outlines the expected costs of items and services related to your healthcare needs, including a diagnosis and the reasons for mental health services. It is important to note that the estimate is based on information available at the time of its creation and does not include any unforeseen costs that may arise during treatment. If there are complications or special circumstances, you might incur additional charges, and in such cases, you will receive a new GFE. Furthermore, if there's a change that hasn't been discussed with you and you have not been provided with an updated GFE, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), healthcare providers and facilities must inform individuals not enrolled in a health plan or coverage, or those not filing a claim with their insurance accepted, both orally and in writing, about their right to request a GFE of expected charges at the time of scheduling healthcare items and services. Additionally, it’s essential for practices to have a clear cancellation policy in place to ensure transparency for patients.
If you need to cancel a session, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to comply with our cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a $75 fee. We appreciate your understanding, and please remember that your confidentiality is important to us. Additionally, we want to assure you that insurance is accepted for our services.
Aetna, Anthem, All Savers, Cigna/Evernorth, Kaiser Permanente, and UnitedHealthcare/Optum are all providers that you can choose from. It's important to note the cancellation policy of your chosen insurance accepted, as well as ensuring confidentiality in all your dealings with these providers. Additionally, the VA Community Care Network (CCN) also offers various options to consider.
Self Pay options are also available, and we encourage you to reach out to us for specific pricing details. Please note that our cancellation policy and confidentiality measures are in place, and we also have information on insurance accepted.
